The Sevillian midfielder, whose contract ran until 30 June 2027, extends his stay with the blue-and-white club through the 2027/28 season.
Jerez de la Frontera. Xerez CD have confirmed, through their official website, the renewal of Jaime López through the end of the 2027/28 season. The Sevillian midfielder, who already had a contract in place until 30 June 2027, thus extends his stay with the club by one more year.
López was an important piece in Diego Galiano's system last season, until an injury interrupted his progress. His renewal strengthens the midfield ahead of a season that looks demanding, with the new addition of trips to the Canary Islands introduced by the new Segunda RFEF Group IV.
Another move within the summer planning
López's renewal adds to the work the blue-and-white sporting department, led by Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez and Iago Díaz, has been carrying out this summer market. The club has already confirmed the continuity of nine players from last season and has signed Carlos Pantoja, Manu Galán, Fali and Rubén Mesa, in a project that Xavi Molist will lead following Diego Galiano's departure from the bench.
With this renewal, Xerez CD secure knowledge of the division and of the club itself in a midfield that is taking shape ahead of pre-season.
