Xerez CD strengthen the right-back position with the arrival of Víctor López

The Galician defender signs for the 2026/27 season from Linares Deportivo, where he was a regular last season in Segunda Federación Group IV.

Xerez CD have officially confirmed the arrival of Víctor López for the 2026/27 season. The right-back, born in Vigo, joins from Linares Deportivo, the club he played for last season in Segunda Federación Group IV, the same group the blue-and-white side will compete in.

López, 22, made 27 appearances for the Linares side last season, starting 18 of them and passing 1,700 minutes of play. Formed in the UD Las Palmas academy, he made his senior debut with Unión Sur Yaiza, playing 33 matches in Group V before making the step up to Linares.

He is Xerez CD's sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Carlos Pantoja, Fali, Rubén Mesa and Jaime Fernández ahead of the 2026/27 season.
