Jerez City Council to remove the discus throwing structure at Chapín for Xerez-Cádiz

Jerez City Council's head of Health and Sports, Tomás Sampalo, has announced in response to this outlet that the discus throwing structure at the Estadio Municipal de Chapín will be removed for the Copa del Rey match against Cádiz CF, so that there is better visibility.

The measure will apply for the Copa del Rey first-round match between Xerez CD and Cádiz CF, to be played on Wednesday 28 October at 21:00 at Chapín. With the structure removed, supporters will have a better view of the pitch.

A match generating great anticipation

The provincial derby has generated great interest: Tribuna and Preferencia tickets sold out eleven days before the match, which has been declared high risk by the relevant authorities.
