Xerez - Cádiz to be played this Thursday at 21:00 at Chapín

The Copa del Rey tie between Xerez CD and Cádiz CF, postponed this Wednesday because of the Urda train crash, will be played this Thursday 29 October at 21:00 at Chapín. Tickets bought for Wednesday remain valid.

The first of the two options under consideration, playing as soon as possible, has prevailed. The option of playing it on 24 or 25 November, before the second-round draw, has been ruled out.

With people still missing

The decision comes just one day after the postponement. The match was called off because of the crash and will be played while there are still people missing.

Three days to travel to the Canary Islands

The schedule is tightening for Xerez CD. After the cup derby, Segovia's side visit Tamaraceite in the Canary Islands on Sunday 1 November at 13:00, just three days later.
