The match between Xerez CD and Atlético Antoniano, on matchday 11 of Segunda RFEF, Group IV, will be played on Sunday 15 November at 18:00. What is still unknown is where: Chapín will not be available because the pitch is being reseeded.

The kick-off time is now official, but uncertainty remains over the venue. The reseeding work at the Estadio Municipal de Chapín means the pitch cannot be used for 24 days, so Xerez CD will have to play their home game away from their stadium.

The options

Jerez City Council has offered the Estadio Pedro Garrido to both Jerez clubs for as long as the work lasts. According to the local press, the club considers that ground too small for the Xerez support.

Another option being considered is El Palmar, in Sanlúcar, which is popular with the fans. The problem is that Atlético Sanluqueño play at home two weeks in a row, which would complicate the use of their facilities.

Swapping the order of the fixtures with Antoniano has also been suggested: playing this game in Lebrija and the second-round meeting at Chapín. The club see this as unlikely, since the Federation would have to approve it.

The opponents

Antoniano arrive after thrashing Estepona 4-1 on the last matchday, a result that lifted them off the bottom. They are sixteenth with 6 points. Xerez are tenth with 12.

Before that, Xerez have another fixture: on Sunday 8th they visit Atlético Sanluqueño at El Palmar at 12:30.
